Who writes this
I make Bible: Daily Verse & Prayer
My name is Christian Kuri and I make the app this blog is about: I design it, I build it, and I write what you read here. This is not a content blog written from outside the product.
Why this app exists
I built it because I kept meeting the same person: someone with four Bible apps installed and none of them opened twice. The problem was almost never faith; it was that opening the app asked for more attention than an ordinary morning has. So the app does one thing a day — a verse, a short reflection and a prayer with your name in it — and it ends when you say Amen.
How I write here
Every article carries my name and answers something people actually search for. When I explain how something works on iOS, I have done it on an iPhone. When I explain a decision about the app, it is a decision I made. If I cannot verify a fact, I leave it out: an article with one fact fewer beats an article with one fact wrong.
Where the Scripture comes from
Always public domain: the World English Bible in English and the 1909 Reina-Valera in Spanish. The reflections and prayers are original. The language deliberately stays on the common ground between Catholic and evangelical readers — that is why you will read “the LORD”.
